Report to: Managing Director
A firm in the hospitality industry with a Beach Resort is looking for a Human Resources and Administrative Manager .The suitable candidate will be responsible for all HR and administrative activities specifically reviewing and advising on HR policies and processes across the business, coordinating human resources administrative functions, providing support to leadership team in delivering organizational goals. Ensuring talents are nurtured, dealing with performance issues, and ensuring personnel and management practices conform to various regulations

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Providing support, in line with business strategy and company policy with regards to areas such as discipline, grievance, absence management, policy interpretation
• Manage HR related projects with regards Reward and Recognition, Employee Engagement, HRIS, Talent Development
• Work with the Leadership Team of the relevant Business Units to support the development of a High Performance, fully engaged team
• Oversee implementing of recruitment & selection process
• Developing Job descriptions for both existing and new hires
• Training & development Process
• Coordinate and ensure proper implementation of staff performance management system and to make appropriate recommendations
• To coordinate and ensure that a clean working environment in the company is maintained.
• Ensure timely maintenance of Company Vehicles at all times while minimizing cost
• To register and arrange movement of car for efficient operations and convey authorized passengers/goods safely to authorized destination
• Ensure utility bills are paid as at when due with no excess charge to the organization, also ensure the appropriate regulatory vehicle permits are available as at when due
• Manage all aspects of building maintenance on a daily basis including electrical, mechanical equipment, air conditioners, generators, fire safety, plumbing, water treatment and much more.
• Direct, coordinate and perform routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency and operations
• Excellent usage of Human Resource Information System
• Human Resources Administration
• Data Analytic and Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill

• Business understanding and Customer orientation

Qualification and Experience:
• Minimum of 3- 5 years’ work experience as Human Resource Generalist, Talent Management in the
• Excellent knowledge of labour laws, employment legislation, HR systems, processes and procedure
• Proven negotiation, consultation and facilitation skill
• Excellent use of PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and word
• Certification in Human Resource Management, CIPM or PHRi
• At least 3-4 years Human Resource experience in a similar role, preferably in the Hospitality/Food and beverages/Audit environment.

Candidate must reside on the island preferably Lekki/ Ajah axis
